Required Coffee Quality Control Specialist (Specialty Coffee)

– Experience: Minimum 7 years in specialty coffee quality control

– Proven experience with specialty coffee standards

– Deep knowledge of the coffee supply chain: from green bean sourcing to final cup

– Familiar with roasting profiles, brewing methods, and sensory evaluation

Quality Control Responsibilities:

– Conduct cuppings to evaluate consistency, defects, and flavor profiles

– Develop and maintain SOPs for quality checks from farm to café

– Train and mentor staff in sensory evaluation and coffee preparation techniques

– Collaborate with roasters, baristas, and procurement to maintain high quality standards

Skills:

– Strong communication and documentation skills

– Ability to lead QC audits and resolve quality issues efficiently
