Required Workshop Manager

Our Topaz HQ in Kuwait is looking to appoint an additional enthusiastic and hardworking Workshop Manager to lead our team of Technicians in both the Detailing and Paint Protection Film department. The ideal candidate would need to have previous experience in a workshop environment as a Workshop Controller or Workshop Manager. Enthusiasm, commitment and excellent communication skills are vital to this role, as well as a proven track record in a workshop environment. A good understanding of computer systems including excel is preferred.
This role consists of:
- Developing an excellent rapport with all the workshop staff.
- To contribute to the development of the business plans and budget, including gross profit, control of indirect and direct expenses, labour efficiency.
- To organise, direct and control the activities of Workshop and other Staff in order to achieve targets.
- Following the QC procedure to make sure quality standards are upheld and managed.
- To contribute to the development of operating the administrative policies and procedures to ensure the smooth running of the workshop.
The Workshop Manager will also liaise with the Sales Department, and be on hand to answer any queries regarding the progress of the vehicles treatments. The role is responsible for ensuring all incoming work is planned then managing the time and resource, ensuring productivity is maximised and that deadlines are adhered to.
Quality checking, ordering of parts, audit and compliance as well as health and safety are also important elements of this role.

Previous Automotive workshop experience is crucial
