Required Senior Maintenance Engineer

Job Detail

Managing the production of repair activities within the shipyard.
Ensuring that repair activities are completed on time, on budget, and to the required quality standards.
Developing and managing project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
Implementing and improving production processes and procedures to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.
Managing and training a team of production personnel, including supervisors and workers.
Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with clients and suppliers.
Overseeing the engineering department and ensuring that all repair and maintenance projects are running smoothly and efficiently.

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering or related field.

– Minimum of 15-20 years of experience in a shipyard or related field.-

– Knowledge and understanding of maintenance planning, scheduling and execution in shipbuilding.

– Familiarity with shipbuilding materials, process and equipment.

– Strong technical skills in design, engineering, and manufacturing processes.

-strong skills in propulsion system and diesel engines maintenance and repair

– Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
